When you register on MeriTeam, we collect: • Firm name, business type, city, and state • Admin name, mobile number, and email address • Employee names, mobile numbers, and designations • Attendance check-in data including GPS coordinates (for geo-fencing only) • Payroll data including salary, deductions, and payment history We do not collect payment card details — all payments are processed securely by Razorpay.
We use the information to: • Provide and operate the MeriTeam platform • Calculate attendance, payroll, and performance scores • Send notifications and announcements within your workspace • Improve our product and customer support • Send billing and subscription-related emails We never sell your data to third parties.
Your data is stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS in the ap-south-1 region — Mumbai). We use 256-bit SSL encryption for all data in transit. Access to your firm's data is restricted to your admin account and the employees you add.
Location data is used solely to verify employee check-ins against your configured office radius. We do not track employee location outside of check-in events. Location data is not shared with any third party.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 90 days after which it is permanently deleted. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.
We use the following third-party services: • Razorpay — payment processing (subject to Razorpay's privacy policy) • Supabase — database and authentication • Vercel — hosting and edge delivery These services have their own privacy policies and we recommend reviewing them.
